BRANDEISIANS FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE GAVE IN HONOR OF THEIR MORRIES AND SECURED AN ADDITIONAL $50,000 FROM SPENCER SHERMAN '83!


In the best-selling memoir, "Tuesdays with Morrie," Mitch Albom ’79 documented the transformative relationship he shared with his Brandeis sociology professor, Morrie Schwartz. Earlier this year, Albom challenged the Brandeis community to share stories about their own Morries . 

During the month of June 2022, Brandeisians from all over the globe made a gift to Brandeis in honor of their Morrie, exceeding the 350 donor challenge extended by Spencer Sherman '83 and unlocking an additional $50,000 for Brandeis students!


HONOR YOUR MORRIE

You can still participate in this campaign with a gift to Brandeis in honor of someone who made your time at Brandeis special. Give to the area of campus you care about most in their name and recognize the role mentorship has played at Brandeis since its founding in 1948.
